The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

Getting ready for the big day

With another summer coming to a close, and the trees giving hints of changing colors, as well, parents are thinking about binders and crayons, pencils and the kids are thinking about their friends that they have not seen since June, especially the little ones having great big dreams about the big day.

Well, we know what that means!.....BACK TO SCHOOL

September is coming soon, to me this means that we are getting back into the routines again, of homework and school lunches.

Within the family ministry group, this subject has come up several times, about, “What is my basic routine, is like during the school night ?” and “What will my girl's lunches consist of?” As well hearing “ The backpacks are expensive, where did you get your kids backpacks ?”

Super mom to the Rescue!! I have been doing some research on how to answer some of these questions.

For the lunch problem, some people just say” I am just making a peanut butter sandwich, they will like it!” For kids today that are going to school there is the no peanut rule that we have to take into consideration, I have found that cheese and cracker, or bite-size food as an alternative, with fruit and veggies, I found this idea on an app called Pinterest.
As for the backpack problem, I keep my ears open for a program through the united way, called backpack program, which takes something off the checklist, within the backpack, there are some surprises, my girls love them. Want to add a caption to this image? Click the Settings icon.
It will be nice to have them on Sunday, Sept 16th For the Backpack blessing at the Family picnic at St. Georges.

These are just a few ideas to start you out, but you will find different ideas along the way.
As well don’t forget, don’t stress Just remember “ IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!”
